So, if you’ve been reading my last few posts you will notice that I’ve started my career trading assets in on the blockchain and am looking for ways to improve my skills. I recently signed up for a course that is geared towards new traders and simple tools that will improve your chances of picking coins before the sky rocket to the moon. Of course, I’m not expecting to hit one of these every day, but at least I should have a few of them. Last week I was lucky enough to own OMNI before the spike, which allowed me to lock in some nice profits. Anyway, sorry to my non-existent loyal followers for not posting in a while, I’ve been super busy due to the Memorial Day weekend, we had in the states this past weekend. I live in a small mountain town in greater Los Angeles and I feel as if the whole stinking city comes up here for Memorial Day to celebrate with us dirty mountain hippies!
The main reason I’m writing this post is to reach out to anyone who might be able to help me with my excel spreadsheets when it comes to my blockchain investments. I was able to create a file that is organized: here is screenshot.
My table has different headings, the most important being the average cost category and last price. From there I can determine my percentage gains, dollar gains, and BTC gains from when I bought the coin. This is pretty much how I determine if I made a good investment or If I need to cut the bleeding and eat my losses on worthless coins.
I am proud of myself for being able to create a file that is constantly updated with current market prices levels from CoinMarketCap.com. If anyone would like to know how I did this I will gladly show them my tutorial on how to set this up.
The one question I have for you Steemians is does anyone know how I can track the changes from the last update so that they will reflect in a separate sheet? I would like to have a separate sheet that shows the changes in rank and price from the last time I updated the file. I’m sure this is possible to do, and if I paid more attention during COMP 101 I might be able to solve this myself. Please any help is greatly appreciated!
