Happy Wednesday Hivers! ## Someone told us that a new cake and pastry shop had recently opened in Hilongos. To be honest, I’m not really a fan of cakes and pastries, so I wasn’t that interested in checking it out. However, I never expected that I would eventually step inside the store. One day, my mother and I were in Hilongos when it suddenly started raining heavily, and we couldn't find any shelter. I honestly didn’t expect the shop to have cassava cake available. When we got home, I was excited to open the box and finally have a taste. As soon as I opened it, I could already tell it was going to be delicious. It looked so tempting and beautifully made that I couldn't wait to try it. After taking the first bite, I wasn't disappointed at all. The cassava cake was soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. What started as simply finding shelter from the rain ended with us discovering a delicious cassava cake and a great Buy 1, Take 1 deal.
