Nigeria men mostly in the northern part of the region are known for polygamous institution. They backs it up with a belief on the Koran (Islamic scripture) by saying that a man must marry less than for wife to be complete. So I think that if this method of marriage is implemented in Nigeria maybe polygamy will reduce.
