They were something more than a simple building consecrated to a certain faith: the achievement of a project that transcended rivalry, raising the spirit towards infinity.
For this reason, it should not be strange, that from their origins they were considered, with all merit and justice, as the Light that illuminated the darkness of a time that went down in history with the name of the Middle Ages.
In them the knowledge of a whole world is located and symbolically speaking, they were also a bridge that connected the earth with the sky, following similar models that generations of pilgrims had previously followed, always looking for the Transcendence.
