Traveling, tirelessly following the traces of a History, whose best chapters, metaphorically and comparatively speaking, are marked by an immeasurable artistic and cultural Heritage, is also another way of enriching knowledge and reliving, even if in the hypothetical labyrinths of speculative memory, those exciting journeys, which, for centuries, kept in circulation a faith, a transcendence and some hopes, which, in addition to motivating the capacities for adventure and resilience, instructed, with a hidden mastery, where also effort, self-sacrifice and sense of camaraderie marked very particular milestones in that vital objective, which is always, without a doubt, personal growth.
Times, in which travelers and pilgrims knew how to value, in the right measure, not only the richness and spectacularity inherent to that spiritual macrocosm formed by the great monasteries and the immeasurable cathedrals, but also the importance and exemplary help that they offered. , on their tortuous path, small churches and hermitages, which, regardless of their humility, were built, in an intentional and precise manner, in key places along the paths, where they served as refuge and inn, in which to recover from the tortuous vicissitudes and the fatigue of a journey, whose destination not everyone was able to reach.
Viajar, siguiendo incansablemente los rastros de una Historia, cuyos mejores capítulos, metafórica y comparativamente hablando, quedan señalizados por un Patrimonio artístico y cultural inconmensurable, es también otra forma de enriquecer conocimientos y revivir, siquiera sea en los hipotéticos laberintos de la memoria especulativa, esos apasionantes recorridos, que, durante siglos, mantuvieron en circulación una fe, una trascendencia y unas esperanzas, que, además de motivar las capacidades de aventura y resiliencia, instruían, con una magistralidad soterrada, donde también el esfuerzo, la abnegación y el sentido de compañerismo marcaban unos hitos muy particulares en ese objetivo vital, que es siempre, sin duda alguna, el crecimiento personal.
Tiempos, en los que viajeros y peregrinos bien sabían valorar, en su justa medida, no sólo la riqueza y espectacularidad inherentes a ese macrocosmos espiritual formado por los grandes monasterios y las inconmensurables catedrales, sino, además, la importancia y el auxilio ejemplar que ofrecían, en su tortuoso camino, pequeñas iglesias y ermitas, que, independientemente de su humildad, eran levantadas, de manera intencionada y precisa, en lugares clave de los caminos, donde servían de refugio y fonda, en la que recuperarse de los tortuosos avatares y la fatiga de un viaje, cuyo destino, no todos lograban alcanzar.
