Hive will work exactly as steem/it did, for the most part. I don't know if you will get downvoted or not, he/she/them seem to be against most anything related to "conspiracy theories" so take that for what it's worth. It's not technically censoring you but I could see how it might feel that way. I haven't checked to see if that account is active here or not, I would suspect so though... Hive/steem is no different from the real world, some people will disagree with you and they may or may not have a logical reason for doing so. It's unfortunate, especially since a difference of opinions here can have a reputational (number next your name) and monetary impact, but it's life here on this blockchain.
