Blade show 2018!

This was my first time in Atlanta Georgia to attend blade, the biggest knife show in the world, makers from around the globe make the yearly pilgrimage to sell or show off their wares!I went for the materials that are made by makers outside of the country! This is carbon Damascus! this is brass and zirconium! It’s absolutely beautiful! this is called dragon skin Damascus once finished u blue it in hot salts and the round bearings become a rainbow of colors, this material was the main reason I attended, it’s made by a gentleman named Bertie Rietveld and he is from South Africa, and it’s the only time to get it!different woods and stag hornsthis was my favorite knife at the show made by a maker named frank fisher!
