So, I am a noob to The Hive. I have spent a lot of hours the last week since joining to read and learn. I understand the mechanics of crypto i.e. hodling/staking and trading on many platforms. I also enjoy some autobots at Kraken. The information on the Hive exchange does not appear to be straightforward. Maybe I just haven't found the "HEY NOOB-START HERE" post or blog. I have visited many that appear to offer newcomer info and yes I am growing my knowledge because of them. However, I really need help with Hive, Bee and HBD.
I started gung-ho (for me) and deposited 50 bucks worth of LTC. That became LTC.swap. I exchanged that for Hive.swap thinking I was getting Hive - apparently, not the case. I need a few replies to this post that explain a few things. For instance... Is hive.swap capable of powering up or voting/blogging posts? Is Bee better than HBD? Can you power up with either of them? I've staked several hundred CTP tokens - but don't see any benefit to that (yet?). Does it accumulate? Is there a minimum for any benefit? Is the staking of hive/hbd/bee the way to powerup?
I understand this is a social venue. I understand powering up hive allows for blogging posts, up and down votes etc. Also, understand the value of creating relationships. Any answers any of these questions are greatly appreciated. I don't mean to waste anyone's time! A simple point in the right information direction would be perfect.
Thank you.
