Graduating from university is an exciting time for students, because it ain't an easy journey to undergo through the stress, trauma, financial problems, etc in school. After bagging the degree, what's next? After school, some graduates may become employed in an entry-level position, while some will be umemploymed due to lack of job in the country. There is lesser opportunities for getting a well paying job after the university levels, especially in my country, Nigeria. This is why students indulge themselves in building their career. There are various options to pursue your goals in life after graduating which helps to decide what to do after completing your studies. Either learning a skill or discovering your goals.*
Due to lack of emolyment, it has made many Nigerian graduates to involve themselves in menial jobs just to sustain a living. There's this slang that says.. "School na scam..!!" But you know what? I don't really believe this quote. Because of the lack of jobs in my country, Nigeria, it has made me known that it is lack of employment that causes graduates to be unemployed after work.
*I know that is not easy to maintain the financial struggles in school, but atleast as a student, you should have a side hustle that help build your career, goals and achievement in life, even after school. In summary, I urge all fresher's or newbies into the tertiary level, to get something doing because its really a cold world outside there.
