Hello hivers in this community have a good day ! Just flexing the Junior Police members who are actively cleaning up the school ground . This is their monthly regular activity to help keep the school ground cleaned .
The school established some organizations with specific activities based on their action plan year round . One of these organizations is the Junior Police . This organization was started way back 2015 and I am selected as coordinator . Seems extra effort that needs extra time to monitor members and need to have regular activities for JP members to do every month . In our school ,there 53 listed members but only very few are active to participate every activity. I monitored their attendance every meeting and activity .
Last Saturday , October 31 , 2026 I assigned them to clean the school ground and other areas that need clean up . Only 5 of them came .
I've been working this school , Bankal National High School since September 2007 , for 19 years already . I love this school BNHS for this is my alma mater . I graduated in BNHS last 1996 and serving I've been serving this school until now . Maybe this is gonna be my last school to serve . My first school was in Private , St Joseph School Mactan 2004 . In 2005 , I hired in public in Babag Night High School in 2005 which was very far from home and I travelled 32 kilometers daily back and fort . I requested our Division Of Lapu-Lapu to transfer in the nearest school , my alma mater and thanks God , there was a vacant item for me which was the item of my friend named Emelio , who wanted to transfer also in Babag National High School . These are some pictures below in the school that I am working . This is now a very big school , reaching the population around 4000 plus students including senior high school .
In my mind , I have plan to abroad but I am hesitate because not all teachers going abroad have good fortune . After the end of contract , need to go back home and reapply again in public school . Though OFW are priority when applying for teaching position here in the country under Deped Secretary Program by Sunny Angara the SPIMS ( Sa Pinas Ikaw ang Maam at Sir ) program but back to teacher 1 position . These are some situations that am evaluating . If I want to go out the country , I leave my comfort zone but looking forward for life changing opportunity abroad . There are some questions and speculations that come in mind like , can I survive teaching job in foreign country , with different defiant behaviors of students ? Can I sustain working alone and staying alone in apartment doing everything? Is my health can sustain the country's different weathers ?
I love teaching my fellow Filipinos that is what I know .
Going back to my Junior Police Organization , there was time that I wanted to quit as adviser of JP,for I need to relax and focus my academic . But the Principal dont want me to quit . Now I learned to embrace this organization as well as the members . They love to be with the organization and they are inspired also by me , I dont know why ? That is why I support them and it seems like I am supporting the school to maintain cleanliness, peace and order and support every school activity .
After our clean up drive , I gave them money to take snack . I felt they are tired and hungry . So we took our snack together in the nearest bake shop across the school.
Loving your work you cannot feel tired and you enjoy what you are doing without condition . I am not perfect in person but I performed what I need to as part of the department .
