Hello to all friends in this great community. Just sharing my travel journey towards the bottom area of Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX). The expressway was inaugurated by former Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last April 27, 2022 and was officially opened to public on April 30,2022. CCLEX holds the record as the tallest bridge in the Philippines today which has the length of 8.9 kilometers .
The CCLEX bridge of Cebu gives the great advantage to scape too much traffic from usual road from Lapu-Lapu City to South Road Properties (SRP) that travel 1 hour when traffic via motor cycle while travelling the CCLEX of the same origin can reach the same destination for only half an hour depending on speed .
This bridge was a long dream for Cebuanos to have this and now it is a dream come true to have this third bridge . This is a part of build build projects of former President Rodrigo Duterte .
It is the great pride of Cebuanos to have this magnificent bridge connecting from Cordova Cebu to SM Seaside . Everytime there is big event in SM ARENA CCLEX is always part Cebuano route to travel. Though we are paying toll pay which is 68 pesos for motorcycle and 100 for 4 wheels , this doesn't matter for the convenient of faster travel away from traffic .
Often times I travelled near the bridge because I of my part time hailing app Moveit . Last time, I had passenger dropped off to SM Seaside . Then advance travelled from SM SEASIDE going to Plaza Independencia . I amaze the views of the bridge that force me to stop and took some pictures of it . Last time I took pictures of the bridge but that at foot area of Cordova . This time , I was bottom area , near coastal part of Pasil Cebu .
Thanks to President Duterte to have this project for Cebuanos . His legacy before remains in our heart . Thanks also to all people who are part of constructing the project . I dont know if there were casualties upon building it . Whoever they are , may God bless all of them for sacrificing their lives to make dream project into reality that would last to other new generations .
