This animation was inspired by @meesterboom. Having watched his interesting animations, I decided to fix Steemit with this.
This is my first 2D animation and I'm very excited about it. I have a very demanding day job so I started this on Sunday night and finished it on Monday night.
I don't feel proud to call myself a genius. I'm so excited that I could do this by just watching one Youtube video.
At first, I wanted to work it out on Photoshop but it wasn't working out. I then found Pivot Animator.
It's such a fantastic light software. It isn't even up to 3MB.
I wanted to create something interesting but there was no inspiration.
Then I thought of Steemit. I haven't been able to log in with my phone since the last upgrade. Sadly, I use a Windows Mobile phone. I'll change it soon.
Since I couldn't log in to Steemit, It was broken to me and it needed a fix. Then I began working with the frames. It was tasking at first but since I work with layers on Photoshop, I found it easy to adapt to.
After creating the movements, I added the STEEMIT letters, I didn't want to use the new logo as I didn't have the permission as stated by @steemitblog in this post; https://steemit.com/logo/@steemitblog/the-new-steemit-logo-is-here
##I think a couple of people are using it already though.
So, I made use of the Steem logo.
As you can see, it dances back and forth because it was broken.
When it got fixed, the Steem logo moved smoothly.
Soon, I will be creating comics just to accentuate my creativity. I am glad I could do this. So glad!
I'm excited. I'll appreciate genuine comments from the community. Ideas on what I can do with this are appreciated.
There's no limit to what you can do. You need just a little push. I'll be doing some animation for @stach
@steem-lagos,
@redfishpillar,
@euronation and
@onequality soon.
These are communities inspiring a lot of Steemians here grow and keep coming back even though the rewards are not encouraging. I wonder how they manage to mix Steemit with their normal life. Oh! for some, Steemit is normal life to them.
Kindly drop a comment and I'll find time in the weekend to make a free animation for randomly selected people.
Thanks to @meesterboom for the inspiration. He is the first person I have seen with this type of animation and his are very funny and interesting. You should check his posts out.
For starters, I didn't know I'll develop something like this on Sunday morning.
It was in the afternoon when was surfing the internet when I had the thought of creating a motion image just for the fun of it.
Then, I thought of Stickman. I googled "Stickman animation creator and thanks to Google, Pivot animator was all over the place.
I clicked on the download link and I installed the software.
I started playing around after watching a Youtube tutorial.
There are a lot of tools I can download to make better animation with Pivot Animation.
I'll master the art before moving to another.
An idea just popped!!!
Two famous Nigerian musicians had a brawl five days ago in Dubai.
I'll try to work something out with the story. This is where I need some creativity.
It isn't going to be as easy but it's not hard.
Much from from this end of the world to you. See ya!
