This is exercise number 5 of various studies done in Photoshop, using my favorite paintings by major artists in the world. Here I chose "The soul of the rose" by the painter Jhon Williams Waterhouse from 1908.
*The idea of these exercises is to take a maximum of 1hr to take the most important elements of the composition and make it resemble the original as much as possible without going into much detail, to understand the handling of values, lines, textures and so on with all the elements of painting and drawing.
