No accusations. I was making a point. In either case, the benefit of the doubt was not afforded. It's not even that I expect it to be, this is blockchain. The system needs to be more trustless --even more so when it comes to allocation of community resources.
I don't want to discount anyone's contribution, but many people on that front already have an incentive to make what they already hold more valuable. I hope that now that this 'True Steem' has been set free, building more accountability and trustlessness into the system can be accomplished. Community funds, community reviews of activities. I don't think vouching by your peers who share a private forum is it though.
This is all very fixable over time. I think it amounts to growing pains. If I am confident in a trustless way someone is providing a certain amount of value , I want them to get the funds they need.
