For the 100th time, I don’t have people downvote anything. I appreciate the concerns and will reach out to him to remove it.. which is the way this normally goes.. me asking for downvotes to be removed, not the other way around.
I do find this all comical though .. accusations of backroom deals when I’m not the one making deals with a new whale on the block who seems to like your posts and alts. Hell.. I don’t even post. What deals and greasing has been happening?
The accusations are a bit ridiculous, and not needed to voice a concern. The real issue here is that we have no actual ability to pay individuals to do the core work, as everyone is too focused on fighting over the pool and what upvotes they deserve. I mean.. I guess that’s a good way to do things too, but seems a bit counterproductive.
Whether anyone wants to admit it, there is work being done by a few that have gotten us here, and they aren’t posting daily to tell you about it. So how to we incentivize such work to continue? I’m not even talking about me now, I now understand none of the work I did was needed, just tweeting did all of it, but I mean everyone else. We reward people for making shit posts daily, but won’t reward people for working on the core aspects of the project. How’s that supposed to work out?
