This is a common but bitter truth; many men are getting married to prostitutes these days and that is one cause of divorce. Prostitution is one of the oldest professions and as humans advance, so do these professions also adopt new ways of doing business. Not all prostitutes are found on the street.
Women are getting into relationships these days for economic benefit and the commodity or product up for sale is their bodies. You cannot date them without providing for their financial needs. The very day you can't meet that, the relationship is over.
To them dating means you are responsible for their accommodation, feeding, shopping, education, personal products, etc. In some of these relationships it is a "cash and carry" system; body na ground, cash na hand.
It usually starts with them asking you to pay for their taxi and uber fares, to their phone credit, internet data, money for saloon then to buying of cars and houses for them.
They have preferred brands or types; there are those who call themselves high class or the boss chick and those who are in for their basic needs. For the latter anything goes as far as their survival depends on that.
Knowing their bodies is what makes the money, a living for them, many using all forms of family planning methods. From condoms to pills, injection etc.
They also have a chain of partners or lovers who fall into various categories. There is the main man and the supporting ones. And when they feel pressured by society or age or find the one who can pay better, that is when thoughts of marriage begin to ring a bell in their heads.
At times, it gets to the season of failure when they mistakenly become pregnant. This is a complete business failure due to negligence and they are forced to settle down with the man who impregnated them.
Such men make it difficult for them, when they insist they have to give birth and some go ahead to propose marriage. Such marriages are done in a rush and the trouble starts almost immediately after the marriage.
She was neither ready nor prepared for marriage, making the journey a difficult one for her. She can't handle the stress of marriage and baby so she ends up failing or giving up.
She wants to be single in the marriage, she still wants to keep her business and partners. Marriage is not her focus, money is, she is therefore prepared to sacrifice the union for her business.
Every prostitute has a future when it comes to marriage, but one needs to repent, bid farewell to the old clothes and habits, then dedicate her life to working on her personal salvation and her relationship.
Men out there, if you are looking for marriage, you need to be a marriage material yourself, be honest when you approach any woman with your intentions and if she is not ready, please let her go. If you want to help her, please do but don't ride on that help just to get her into bed or a relationship. Marriage is a serious journey and it requires people who have a true calling for it, not someone with whom who you had sex or who you impregnated.
