That's a feature with a real use. Looks like DASH is leading the way in some ways. While I'm not a fan of dash or invested in it, I see advancements like these as much needed in the crypto sector, hope to see other coins follow with similar tech.
Despite what many bitcoiners think, competition is definitely good even in this space, saying otherwise is something more in line with a fiat maximalist's ideas.
The new tech aimed at improving the experience of storing and spending currency should attract new people to crypto, no matter who implements it!
