Below is the origin of the story as narrated by @mineopoly.
You are 14 years old and attend John Radley Middle School in Winchester Park, Pennsylvania. You are a new student and today is your first day in the new school.
Your mom brought you to this ivy covered brick building without giving you any breakfast. You already met the vice principal, Mrs. Patton, and now you are walking down the hall to your homeroom class.
Mrs. Patton knocks on the door and Ms. Sheridan says something in what sounds like a foreign language. You are then directed to sit behind a rather large student she refers to as Jubal.
"You may sit behind Jubal for now until a proper seat is arranged."
You take the seat behind Jubal and spend the entire hour of history without a glimpse at the green board. Jubal's head is in the way and you catch a few words about "Civil War" and some "Opequon Creek". This gets your imagination working and you wonder what it would be like living in 1864.
You could hear the horses and feel the dust from the galloping Calvary. In your imagination you are in the battlefield. You hear a trumpet call. The commander's face looks so much like your teacher Ms. Sheridan. She is standing right above you.
You open your eyes. It is Ms. Sheridan. She asks you,
"Have you heard any of what I have been telling you?"
You are not sure if you should tell her the truth that it is really Jubal’s big head blocking you from seeing the board or if you should make up some excuse.
In your hesitation Ms. Sheridan asks you,
“Let me rephrase my question. Why was the Shenandoah Valley so important to the union in 1864?”
So many names crossed through your mind…
Was it Kershaw or Robert E. Lee? Certainly, you could say something intelligent.
You just froze. Why was everything blank? You have no idea.
Ms. Sheridan then adds,
“You will see me after class.”
Jubal turns his head and grins. This day is not turning out to be the greatest day on earth. On top of that your stomach churns releasing a Gremlin like noise a little louder than you had expected.
Ms. Sheridan looks disturbed,
“Do you have something to say to us all?”
Just then the bell rings. Everyone is gone out the door but you.
You still have to meet Ms. Sheridan “after class”. She gives you the talk about paying attention and the “first day of school”. She also says you are going to be late for Algebra so she will continue the conversation after school with you in detention at 3:10 PM.
It is 3:00 PM. You have just finished P.E. class. You wonder if you should just go home or if you should visit Ms. Sheridan’s classroom for detention. After all she is your homeroom teacher and probably will not forget that she has something more to tell you.
Then , the concluding part by me.
Remembering the fact that first impression matters, You decided to go for the detention, and upon getting to Ms. Sheridan’s classroom, You started shivering because You discovered she was on call.
All You can think of is being scorn at home for your first day crime.
Ms Sheridan ended the call upon your entering, and he asked you to sit down.
what happened today during my class, trust everything is well with you or is there something bordering you ?.
You felt as if 600kg of load had been lifted from your head because you thought she wouldn't be friendly to you after ignoring her questions in the class. Feeling relaxed , you explained yourself to him.
Sorry for losing focus during your lesson, Ms. Sheridan, the fact is that Jubal's big head sent me to another world. A world where I found myself in a battle field with a lot of responsibilities on my head. My fellow soldier we're excited about the battle as if life has a spare, and I was sure I wasn't in just that world, I was in a multiverse.
Ms. Sheridan smiled at You and then advised You to raise a hand when such situations arise again. You felt ok with the words and thanked Ms Sheridan for understanding your explanation. In quest to satisfy your curiosity on the human brain. You asked Ms Sheridan,
The human brain is said to be powerful and can store information more than computers and their likes , right ?
Ms. Sheridan nodded in affirmation. You then continued.
Why is it difficult for this powerful brain to multitask , why wasn't I able to simultaneously pay attention to your lessons while at same time enjoying the new universe where I found myself on the battlefield?
The human brain is powerful and can be able to do so, but it will take a lot of energy and ability, something that is not common in this world. The energy can be harnessed in a vybranium multiverse. Would You love to have a view of what the vybranium multiverse will look like?
Out of excitement, you said yes. Ms Sheridan asked you to close the windows and draw the curtains. You did that excitedly, but You began to grow cold feat when you saw her brought out a golden pendant with a mirror.
She started reciting some words which made the mirror and the pendant to release lightning. A portal started opening and You couldn't believe what your eyes were seeing. Out of fear you shouted,
Stop, stop, please stop at this point . I know I wanted to see a multiverse, the vibranium multiverse precisely, but with what I am seeing, I am not sure I am ready for this, please let's stop!!!!.
No way, the portal can't be stopped halfway, You have to wait and see what's inside. The only way to stop this halfway is with human blood.
At this point, You have no option than to seek for exit route. Being that you are on the sixth floor of the building, you can't jump out of the window. You started shouting for help.
It was at this point that you woke up. You thank God that it was a dream. Meanwhile you have been waiting for Ms Sheridan in the classroom. She had gone out before you came in, and you decided to wait for her. Immediately, you woke up, you decided to forget the whole " first impression stuff". You left the classroom and ran home, caring less on the possible punishment for missing the dentention.
@mineopoly delivered as intended. Hope it mets your expectations.
