The gradual loss of educational, civic and connivance values in society and the families that compose it, has generated a growing indolence and disbelief towards people who still practice being solicitous in the face of the evil of others.
This is a product of the fact that a significant group of people have taken advantage of the trust this generates to defraud their fellow citizens with acts of charity carried out personally or through organizations invented for this purpose, stealing what other citizens donate.
Darkness seems to have imposed itself on clarity and the shades of black and white are now gray. Those who practice good faith are suspected of doing so deceitfully and are objects of unhealthy assumptions for practicing it.
Love will die in the end times, says the Bible, and the time seems to have come, the differences between those who have a decent living situation and those who do not, have been growing,
Poverty, which was decreasing some time ago, has increased again and globalization has only served to make the world aware that less and less thought is being given to the needy, even though there are organizations that try to help.
Shaking hands with the fallen is an act of love and in these times of courage in the face of the demonization of good faith and the a priori pointing out of being a possible swindler.
The same happens with the acts towards the handicapped, these have suffered so much the contempt of their fellow men that when someone tries an act of help or kindness, they are repelled by them, since in many occasions they have been abused and taken advantage of by others to obtain personal benefits.
I recently lived one of these experiences, I make photocopies in my house and a man in a wheelchair arrived who needed one and I made it for him and I tried not to charge him the cost of it and he got upset and logically cancelled it, telling me that because he was in a wheelchair he was not worthy of my pity.
He did not let me explain to her that it was not pity but a way to help her so that her money could be used for other things. I have a daughter who is visually impaired and although she is a fighter and has not given in to her limitation, I understand that she will not always be able to have the same possibilities as others.
We have reached a point of extreme indolence, as the tango cambalache says,

We are marching towards the extermination of acts of good faith produced by the inclement attacks of those who do not understand that to love one's neighbor is to love oneself and maintain an open war against the action, not only accusing the one who does it but posing as this one and performing ignoble acts to destroy it.
