A poem written by Anna Banasiak.
Although this poem is quite short, it is written perfectly and it's absolutely elegant. I love finding poems that express such strong desires for love.
I don't know if it's just my way of thinking or if it is in fact that the way kids are being brought up nowadays aren't really taught how to love because they lack love from those who are supposed shower them with it.
Growing to love and understanding the effects and affects it could have is somewhat complicated but in time we all learn.
I hope you all enjoy this beautiful poem.
The Fish by Anna Banasiak
I think about you every night
you are a rising sun
let me fall asleep in Your kisses
waves of nostalgia rustle in the shells
I can't breathe without You
like a fish
captured in the net
