To love or not to love ...
Do we all not wish to love or be loved?
Having someone yearn for your affection an warmth can sometimes be magical; leaving you to desire the maximum of all pleasures.
I try to tread carefully through this topic since I have not yet experienced what seems to be so delicate and euphoric. What seems to be heaven within someone's skin.
What I have learned is that in order to bloom and flourish in a relationship, mutual respect must given. Complimented by trust and unconditional love.
Here are a few quotes from those who have endured the pleasures of love and the pain it can sometimes cause.
- When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.
- Jess C. Scott.
- The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; If there is any reaction, both are transformed.
- Carl Gustav Jung
- For the two of us, home isn't a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.
- Stephanie Perkins
- Man may have discovered fire, but women discovered how to play with it.
- Candace Bushnell
- I mean, it the relationship can't survive the long, why on earth would it be worth my time and energy for the short term?
- Nicholas Sparks
- When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.
- Donald Miller
- The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much & forgetting that you are special too.
- Ernest Hemingway
- Come sleep with me: We won't make love, love will make us.
- Julio Cortázar
From me to you, with much love.
