Hello everyone, this is my second time doing a DIY this month and I probably won't do it again for a while because I admit that I don't do these things much but today was not something that I had planned in fact It was because I was going through all the clothes that I had old since I've been buying new clothes and I was looking at the clothes that I haven't worn for a long time, so I was thinking about what to do with those clothes and there was a shirt that I used to like a lot but I didn't know if I should get rid of it, so I thought I could turn it into something else.
Hola a todos, esta es mi segunda vez haciendo un DIY en este mes y probablemente ya no vuelva a hacer hasta dentro de un tiempo porque admito que no soy de hacer mucho estas cosas pero el día de hoy no fue algo que tenía planeado de hecho fue porque estuve revisando toda la ropa que tenía vieja ya que me he estado comprando ropa nueva y estuve mirando las prendas que ya hace tiempo no uso, entonces estaba pensando en qué hacer con esa ropa y había una camisa que me solía gustar muchísimo pero no sabía si debía deshacerme de ella, así que pensé que podía convertirla en otra cosa.

The idea that came to my mind was that I could cut it and make it a skirt, so that's what I tried to do, I want to show you first how this shirt looked on me.

The sleeves were a bit tight and I like them to be a bit loose, the first thing I did was remove the sleeves
Me quedaba un poco ajustada de las mangas y a mi me gusta que me queden un poco floja, lo primero que hice fue remover las mangas
Btw I think my sleeves could have another use hahaha they work great to keep my feet warm LOL.

Continuing with the shirt, I decided to leave a space that could be sewn, and I took my needle and thread because I don't have a sewing machine, I started to join both pieces and sewed on the reverse side so that when I turned it over, the seam would not be noticeable.
Continuando con la camisa, decidí dejar un espacio que se pudiera coser, y tomé mi aguja e hilo porque no tengo una maquina de coser, empecé a unir ambas piezas y cosí por el reverso para que al voltearlo no se notara la costura.
This is what it looked like when it was finished, but I still didn't like what was hanging at the bottom so I decided to remove it.
Así se veía cuando estaba terminada, pero todavía no me gustaba lo que tenía colgando así que decidí removerlo.
To remove these balls I look on the back to see which is the seam that holds them and fortunately it was very noticeable, it is the white thread seam, there is a special accessory to detach this seam but I don't have it, so I used a tool that I have for my paintings and I inserted it through the seam to be able to loosen the thread without damaging everything.
Para remover estas bolitas miro por el reverso para ver cual es la costura que las sostiene y afortunadamente era muy notable, es la costura de hilo blanco, hay un accesorio especial para desprender esta costura pero yo no lo tengo, así que usé una herramienta que tengo para mis pinturas y lo inserté por la costura para poder ir desprendiendo el hilo sin dañar la prenda.
After removing that it was finally ready to wear, in the end I had to adjust it a bit because it looked weird at first and it also fits a bit tight but it looks nice, see the finished result.
Después de remover eso finalmente estaba lista para usarla, al final tuve que ajustarla un poco porque al principio se veía rara y también me queda un poco ajustada pero se ve bonita, vean el resultado final.
