Savoured were the days,
we delighted in the rain,
crumpled smiles,
with transparent meaning!
like Judas's kiss
without betrayal
we scampered life,
like a prodigal boomerang,
cast to never return

These days
many paths ahead,
laying in wait,
resembling siamese twins
with no clue,
to right or wrong.
we're now bearded men,
and grey women
with crowned with confusion,
of what we once relished

Mellow,
was the thin tall grasses,
as they replayed.
like yesterday's memories
coming alive,
our tender hands crushing,
on tulips and tendrils
ringing pictures on white lining!
of times when the world
was black and White

Back from bickering trances,
hungry eyes
grasping firm
staring in anticipation
as the clock ticks away,
yelps tearing me apart
with no joy written on the road,
a trip to field once more,
to see where it went wrong
