Over the last few months I've learned some important lessons and one of them is that information and knowledge is key to control, it's the key to amass wealth and influence.
Money is a by-product of the right information, and a lot of people who control these information likes to keep it within their circle and some others uses it to amass incredible numbers.
Attention is also another byproduct of knowledge. When you have the right knowledge, people will pay attention to you, and you can control this attention however you want.
You can choose to milk the attention, or choose to be generous with it, but most times, people just prefer to milk the attention, and try as much as possible to hold on to that attention without really giving it out.
As we know, the Internet is a power tool or monetization, and this is where the power of knowledge can be wielded.
The only problem is, there are people who pretend to have information, but all they do is just use clickbait, and have nothing, but that little attention that they can get from that clickbait sometimes is enough to earn them some money, but the only problem is sustaining that income.
Some other peddle rumors and fakeness.
They use psychological creativity to sell fakeness in the guise of knowledge, but their end goal was never to pass information, it was to get people to click.
We already understand that the right information is life-changing and one of the rule of thumb for me when seeking for information is never to trust people who try to oversell the information they have.
When an information or knowledge itself is life-changing, people do not need to sell it, except of course they're trying to make a course out of the information and earn more money which in itself is a bigger red flag.
This isn't to downplay that monetizing information is bad, but the human psychology is funny and this is where you get greed. People want to sell information and make money but withholding the blueprint that prints. It's like giving you a bit of the cake, while taking away the proper cake from you.
This is why I ask. "Why try to sell it, if of course you don't want to give it all out" and then I remember again. Attention and greed is the reason.
Attention is a billion pound industry.
If you can constantly leverage attention for a decade and consistently too without a drop, then you'll make a lot of money, but this is where the problem is, attention is difficult to sustain and you need to constantly give information to stay relevant. But it's not just relevance that makes people with the right information to hold on to that information and only give crumbs.
It's the willingness to hold onto power and milk more money. I've seen this play out many times, and that's because I've been at the lower end, the utter down side of the spectrum seeking for the right information that could change my finances and the lessons I've learned has been absolutely shocking.
The world is a more greedier place than you know, and even when you actually get the right information, you're probably only paying or getting the information that is half-baked. You're never getting the blue print that changes your life.
People withhold it like their life depends on it, and while I honestly don't have any problems with this, my problem is trying to sell what you don't want to give out. It's just like the classic case of having your cake and eating it.
Doing business with people who wants to have their cake and eating it, is the craziest thing you'll ever do.
These people are the worst of their kind and you'll be better off on your own. However, I still think this is reality.
The quest for the right information is not as easy, you'll lose time, money and sleep, and if you're unlucky it might take you years of endless hardwork to figure it out, and that's if you didn't give up on my way.
You can never really figure it out on your own, although sometimes you can, but you honestly cannot do much except you have people that are dedicated to helping you, and y'all can leverage on the power of partnership.
