Wow. 1 year of traveling abroad, and I'm finally going home to surprise my family.
I've been telling my mom and my little brother Zach that I will be home in a couple months, but little do they know, I'm actually flying home NOW and I'm going to try and surprise both of them and capture their reactions.
My flight from Santiago, Chile to Sioux Falls, South Dakota is over 40+ hours with 3 layovers, but I'll happily do this to save a good $500 on my plane ticket.
Here is the story of my journey of my saying goodbye to my girlfriend Francisca and flying home to surprise my mom and little brother.
