I have an addiction!
I love Gold Foil Legendary cards on Splinterlands. And you might be saying:
"No sh^t Captain Obvious! We all do!"
Yes yes!
They are super rare! They have extra benefits when you play with them. Huge DEC burn rates. Special abilities...
However for me, I got hooked way before SPS because of well...How I got addicted to Splinterlands in the first place.
The collectibility of them!
When I was a kid, I loved opening packs of baseball cards and hoping I would find that all star rookie card. What a rush that was!!!
Fast forward and we've got a new way to collect these cards and it's all digital. It's on the blockchain and YUP...They are even NFT's!
So here's my dilemma....
Over the past few months, the prices of these things have sky rocketed!
Right now, the cheapest Gold Foil Legendary that isn't from the new rewards cards is like 700-800 bucks.
I was buying my Gold Foils for like 70 bucks each a few months ago lol
But now we see these....
I know, I know...There are a BOAT load of these yet to be minted and much more in circulation as time goes on...
But still!
It's so tempting lol
Here's my thoughts on it...
I do think the price of these will go down, but not by a lot. Because as more and more people join Splinterlands (especially when Chaos Legion releases) these will be minted, burned, combined...And supply will go down.
They are limited, even though there will be more of these than say...Almo Cambio.
So what do you think Splintertalk???
Should I pull the trigger and spend some of this juicy DEC I have on these new Gold Foil Legendaries?
Or wait it out, have some patience and see where it goes?
