This Post will be about my travels in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand!
It is my second travel post and i hope you'll like it.
I would consider it as a place you need to visit before you die.
I was on a jungle Tour with an awesome local guide named "Jungle Joe" or thats what he called himself, a local Thai who knew everything about the Forest and its inhabitat.
It was a 2 Day Tour and i want to show you what I saw.
You can visit a local Butterfly farm like us, but to be honest its not too exciting. It is more like a Butterfly-room and they want you to buy their merchandise so i didnt like it too much. (
The trails around the Mountains in Chang Mai are awesome, you feel like you're in a movie.
It is foggy some times very humid and the walks are exhausting, but it is worth for what you get to see.
We saw spiders, birds plants which i've never seen before and a lot of new stuff you've most likely have never seen before.
Over night you can sleep in a self constructed hut with a fire and you drink beer and sing or play cards with the guide or maybe with other people on your trip.
They will most likely guide you to one of the many beautiful waterfalls all around the forest, which is perfect after your exhausting walk. And who knows maybe you'll see a monkey.
To finish up our trip we went Elephant riding, but I don't recommend that because the keeper can be brutal to the big astonishing animals. But no worries you can easily just not book the part with the Elephants.
