If you had a chance to listen to the past few Crypto Maniacs podcasts, we've been blessed with a wealth of content from the 3speak team! And one of the messages they champion is how important it is to use real Web 3 for everything you do in a social media space.
In today's post, I wanted to highlight a few reasons why this is not just savvy advice but it could determine your future success when trying to build an online business or persona brand.
First, the problem....
That's the advice you hear around most 'experts' and leaders in the entrepreneur space. They say it's the way to get your message out to the masses and after a few (years), you may even get monetized!!!
Here's the truth of it, you'll need a minimum 1000 subscribers and like 10,000 hours of views to every be considered. Heck it might be more now. And then you are just fighting for peanuts. YouTube, as much as they say they care about small creators, care about Mr. Beast. They care about the creators that drive big traffic to their videos because that's where they get to show the most ads.
Look, video is important! It's arguably the most important medium to distribute your content around. And things like YouTube and TikTok are kings of it. But not only do you have an uphill battle to get monetized, it'll be so hard to stick out from all the noise....
Speaking of which, the second problem....
There's a popular saying for content creators that was written by a YouTube expert named Roberto Blake. His theory is that to just get noticed, takes 100 pieces of content and then to make your first dime takes about 1000 pieces of content too.
That requires....A lot of time and a whole lot of followers!
And people get deflated and worn out when they show up, day after day, and ever see any progress.
So what do we do?
To me, it's simple! And it's on the Hive blockchain and all it's amazing applications. Here's 2 solutions from the above problems facing creators and entrepreneurs....
