So here's the scoop....I was a big Splinterlands player a few years ago. It got to the point where it took over my life some days lol
I made the decision around this time last year, to gracefully bow out of the game. Mostly for personal reasons but at the end of the day, there has been a gaping hole in my need to feed the 'blockchain gaming beast' here on Hive.
So when 
Acid has been a top 20 witness for a long time, he's built some of the largest curation projects on chain and at the end of the day, everything he seems to do, puts Hive first.
I'm sold!
So for me, it's ZING accumulation for me in 2024!
ZING is the token for the upcoming Holozing game. They are calling it a role playing adventure game built on Hive, and one look at the artwork behind the characters you can't help but get excited!
I know how powerful these kind of games can be, and after leaving Splinterlands, my desire to get back into Hive gaming will now be filled by this new project.
So I need to get some ZING.....
Here's where I stand right now:
I have a little under 24,000 ZING tokens which isn't a ton so this year I want to reached 250,000 ZING. I'm about 10% of the way there, so yeah....I've got some work to do!
Currently, I'm delegating about 5000 $HIVE Power to the game, which is getting me about 29% APR. This will go down as the token spreads out, but I'll end up bumping the delegation up to around 10,000 Hive at the beginning of the year.
I'm also staking absolutely everything I get right now, which is generating a nice 49% APR on that as well.
But what else am I doing?
Has anyone ever told you how incredible this blockchain is?
So I'm delegating my Hive power, I'm staking my ZING but I'm also in the SWAP.HIVE:ZING liquidity pool on TribalDex
I'm taking all the pool rewards and dumping it into the liquidity pool each and every day. And it's currently giving investors a nice little 230% APRon their positions.
I mean, no brainer right?
So this year, there's a brand new focus for Jongo....And it's a game :) I'm willing to put my crypto into this project, because of the team behind the game and the best thing is....It's being built right here on chain!
So here's the accumulation game plan for 2024:
- Delegate Hive Power to Holozing
- Stake all my ZING
- Add liquidity to the SWAP.HIVE:ZING pool
