About a month ago my oldest son sent me a text message that made me smile from ear to ear...
A quick back story about my kid.
He's smart. Like super book smart, in college doing his thing smart...His Dad, yours truly, is much more addicted to entrepreneurship. So when he sends me a text and tells me...
"Dad I'm starting a clothing brand!"
You should have seen me smile!
Over the next few weeks he texted me and asked me every single thing you could imagine about starting a business.
I'm not sure he took all my advice but today....He soft launched his business!
Pretty slick huh?
He's calling it 8th Element Clothing!
He's doing this all himself and it's his first foray into building a business.
Let's just say...I'm pretty excited for him :)
I guess having a Dad around him for his entire life SCREAMING about how important building your own income streams was...Rubbed off?
LOL I'd like to take credit but this is all...Him and his desire to build something of his own.
I'll be there to help him out if he needs, as you guessed it, I've already told him he needs to integrate crypto into his purchase options LOL
Yeah, I'm biased ;)
But wow...I'm so happy for him today!
To me, he's got the best of both worlds now....
He'll be able to keep going with his studies in university, but supplement his income and make some extra cash on the side.
Win win!!!!
And who knows....Maybe this is the next super star clothing designer ;)
Now I just need to convince him to make some sizes for his Dad...lol
Yes, I'll be dragging him to Hive because I think this is a great place for him to start building brand awareness and helping bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and the blockchain...
