Yeah I'm a noob! I am still stumbling around the crypto space and it's all very confusing for a lot of us that are fresh in the game....
I've listened to a lot of experts tell me this or that is the coin to be involved in. Or get into this ICO because it's got revolutionary tech...Blah blah blah. To be brutally honest, most of this stuff is way above my pay grade but something I do understand is...Utility.
Can I actually USE the coin / crypto?
Steemit & Steem have answered that question with a resounding YES!!
I'm creating content, engaging with the community and actually investing in a crypto currency that I believe in...So when @stackin (a guy on Steemit I really respect and think everyone should follow btw) sent out a note the other day about this new ICO called Appics, I decided to take a look...
A brand new social media platform that uses Steem's SMT to power it? Meaning, this will reward me for actually using the platform, sharing my content and engaging with others?
Where do I sign up?
Appics is going to blow your mind and it's why I've decided to get involved and take part in their ICO on March 28th. Well, because of how massive this will be (they sold out of their pre-sale in 30 minutes) I'm planning to get in on their ICO if there is space lol
But here's what Appics is....
Imagine if you combined the media sharing of Instagram and live streaming capabilities of Periscope and Facebook Live. You then mashed it up with Steemit to reward content creators and put a nice ribbon on top...That just scratches the surface of what Appics will be.
Can you tell I'm excited? LOL
Anywho, here's how to get involved with the ICO as well as their free bounty program. That's right, you will get free tokens via their bounty program just for sharing Appics with others.
1. Sign up for the bounty / ICO notifications here!
2. Read the white paper! I know I know....Everyone says to 'read the white paper' on an ICO but this is different. It's not written for computer scientists and cryptographers to decode. This paper is written for noobs like me to understand!!
3. Mark the date! March 28th!
This is going to blow people away and I can't wait to see this project get launched.
