The second B - Build your brand....Is what I want to highlight today...
People do business with those they know, like and trust. So our job as content creators and / or online entrepreneurs is to get people to know, like and trust us. Of course, this cannot happen if you aren't out there for people to see. So this is why building your brand through engagement and creation is so important.
Personal brands in 2022 are more important than ever before. Having a strong personal brand lets you build a valued and trusted reputation. And like I mentioned above, this isn't limited to people that are just trying to market a project online. I believe this is of the utmost importance for content creators....Right here on Hive!
We have an arsenal of fantastic applications and an amazing community built right into layer 1 that helps us get people to know, like and trust us. From delivering content regularly, to engaging through comments and different communities, it's pretty 'easy' to build up that personal brand here.
However....
We're seeing a lot of entrepreneurs that don't tap into the amazing opportunities here and it baffles me!
Look, we can sit on Twitter all day. Upload videos to YouTube. Stream via Twitch. Write a post on Medium. And that's all fine and dandy. Heck it's free too, so the barrier of entry is VERY low. However as we know, you invest your time and energy into some of those centralized Web 2 platforms, they can shut you down on a moment's notice.
But here we have the applications on Hive...
Not only are they free to use (o.k., it costs resource credits but that's pretty easy to get around thanks to Hardfork 26!!), but here's the best part about tapping into Hive to build your brand...

How long have you been 'investing' your time here on Hive? I guarantee you, if you spend the time here, you will get noticed but that's beside the point. No one owes you an upvote, what bigger stake in the platform...Buy some Hive and power it up!
"No one comments on my posts!"
A popular content creator famously said, you need to create 100 pieces of content to get noticed. And 1000 to monetize it! However that's on web 2. Want a quick way to generate more comments on your posts, comment more on others!

The point is, if you are an online entrepreneur and / or content creator, and you believe in this crypto stuff...Stop making excuses! The best decision I ever made almost 5 years ago was to focus my brand building here on Hive.
