So while this isn't the buzz word of the day in marketing circles, content creation still plays a big role in developing a strong brand online.
The standard 'advice' goes something like this....
Start writing blog. Start posting to social media. Do this long enough, you'll get followers and start driving traffic to your websites and offers.
That sounds...So easy!!!!
However what they fail to mention are factors like:
- Brand new content marketers may need 'time' to develop their voice.
- Generating any kind of following takes time. Sure there are short cuts, but generally, you need time to build a following.
- You are going to suck when you first get started. That's part of the journey and if you are getting better each day, you will see better results down the road.
- Making any kind of money or gaining traction on traditional social media takes massive investment in time and energy. With the HOPES of getting to become a partner to share in the revenues...
And lots of other 'surprises' that pop up to leave you flustered and frustrated a few months into it...
With no support for the platforms or their 'community', would-be content marketers usually give up!
But all hope is not lost.....

I joined Twitter basically on day one. And I built up my followers during those years but NOTHING in my decade plus of being in that platform has come close to the amount of engagement I've seen since the Hive blockchain has embraced Twitter.

And the dead honest truth is this....
There are already gaming stars on Twitch. Massively successful authors on Medium. Influencers taking selfies every minute on Instagram. Best selling authors streaming on Facebook and Periscope. Sports personalities doing podcasts on Spotify.
But it's open season on the blockchain!
This is where YOU can become a star!
And YOU become the trailblazer.....
To me, this is much better place to invest my time and energy on.
