People didn't think bitcoin would get over $55k by the end of 2021, now they think it will go somewhere between $100k and $288k by then

People are such fickle creatures.

Their opinions and thoughts are shaped and swayed by whatever the latest developments happened to be.

Take bitcoin for example, back in July of this year the majority of people didn't think bitcoin would get above $55k by the end of 2021.

At this time bitcoin was trading for around $9k and not many people were feeling exuberant or overly bullish about it.

The MicroStrategies of the world had yet to start buying up all the bitcoin and it was still a long ways from all time highs.

Fast forward to the current times and we have institutions buying up all the bitcoin on exchanges and we have a price near all time highs.

Not surprisingly, that has caused people to change their expectations.

Now the majority of people think bitcoin will hit somewhere between $100k and $288k by the end of next year.

Funny how quickly things can change.
