Janet Yellen will be the next US Treasury Secretary

She wasn't a huge bitcoin bull as the FED Chairman but she wasn't a bear either.

She was asked about bitcoin just a couple times and didn't give great remarks about it either way.

However, what is important in my opinion is that we are getting Steven Mnuchin out of there.

While he didn't ban bitcoin or crypto, he laughed at it and said we won't be asking him about bitcoin 5 years from now.

The funny thing is that he is the one that will be gone while bitcoin is still standing.

Funny how that works.

Anyways, Yellen was dovish for stocks in the past and hopefully that carries over to bitcoin as well.

I look at it like this, the devil we don't know is hopefully better than the devil we know.

I don't think Mnuchin was going to let bitcoin ever become the world's reserve settlement currency, Yellen may.

Not that bitcoin needs that to happen for it to be a success, but it would certainly be a nice use case for it.
