The Bitcoin Dominance Index has been doing pretty well these past few days, but is it just a blip or something more?

Altcoins have done very over the last couple months, but now bitcoin is showing some teeth.

At least compared to altcoins.

It's actually been going down but it's not going down as much as altcoins are and is not getting back to some possible resistance levels on the chart.

The only question is whether the start of a move off of the lows for bitcoin or if this is the top of a dead cat bounce?

Personally I think altcoins are going to continue to do well in the near term.

Which means I am in the dead cat bounce category.

I think that bitcoin is going to chop around for a few weeks maybe even a month or two before ending the year on a high note.

That means altcoins should come out to play, hopefully our favorite altcoins go along for the ride!
