  Hello friends of Steemit, this time I want to share these videos of the spacecraft Juno that made the overflight to Jupiter. Juno is the first spacecraft to orbit Jupiter for more than a decade. So far, the record for approaching the gaseous giant was held by NASA's Pioneer 11, which passed 43,000 kilometers from the clouds. Juno has approached ten times more, which has allowed to measure in detail the intensity of the magnetic field of the planet. According to published data, the field has 7,766 gauss, twice as much as was estimated so far.  

  The video begins with Jupiter appearing as a small orb near the center of the image. As the camera approaches Jupiter from below, the planet appears increasing and becomes evident the rotation of its bands of clouds. The Great Red Spot rotates twice; at times it shows an unusual activity. Around the giant planet are numerous white moving ovals. The video ends when the imaginary probe passes over the north pole of Jupiter.

  NASA's Juno spacecraft captured a unique time-lapse movie of the Galilean satellites in motion about Jupiter. The movie begins on June 12th with Juno 10 million miles from Jupiter, and ends on June 29th, 3 million miles distant. The innermost moon is volcanic Io; next in line is the ice-crusted ocean world Europa, followed by massive Ganymede, and finally, heavily cratered Callisto. Galileo observed these moons to change position with respect to Jupiter over the course of a few nights. From this observation he realized that the moons were orbiting mighty Jupiter, a truth that forever changed humanity's understanding of our place in the cosmos. Earth was not the center of the Universe. For the first time in history, we look upon these moons as they orbit Jupiter and share in Galileo’s revelation. This is the motion of nature's harmony.
