Hello and good morning all..today I will share a quick piece I did not long ago.
A bear with butterfly..
These little bears take about 15 minutes to carve with the chainsaw. Can carve them faster but I've learned to slow down. Will save the speed carving for competitions...lol
Here he is chainsaw only...
Some detailing with the dremel and attached the butterfly.
The butterfly wings were made from some scrap paneling, the body was hand carved with a knife and dremel.
After that, I burned it with a torch..scraped and sanded the char off..airbrushed the bear and hand painted the butterfly.
Shipped out to a very happy customer.
Here's another bear and butterfly I created not long ago in chalk form. Had my son in the shop that day.
