MY ENTRY FOR COVER HIVE MUSIC PHASE 1 — "THANK YOU" BY DIDO
Hello 
I’m so excited to be part of Cover Hive Music Phase 1.
When the judges nominated 3 songs, I listened to all of them. But one song kept coming back to my heart — “THANK YOU” by Dido.
There’s something so honest and warm about that song. It’s not loud, but it’s deep. It’s about gratitude — even when life is not perfect. And that’s where I am right now.
I know I’m not perfect 😊 and since it’s called a COVER, I decided to do it MY OWN WAY.
I didn’t just want to sing it straight. I wanted to give you ME.
So I added something special:
I spiced it up with a little RAP
and
Mixed in some HAUSA language — because that’s my root, that’s my heart. I’ll be interpreting the Hausa lines in my lyrics so everyone can connect.
This is not just a copy of Dido’s version. This is my Thank You — in my voice, my vibe, my language.
I’m so glad I get to participate in this first phase. For me, just showing up and sharing my version is already a win.
I believe the next phase will be even better, but for now, this is me saying THANK YOU — to the judges, to MusicZone, to Hive, and to everyone who keeps supporting real music.
