For years, studying in South Korea through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) has been one of my biggest dreams. I have spent countless hours researching universities, preparing documents, and imagining the day I would finally submit my application.
Unfortunately, I have reached a difficult point in my journey. The cost of obtaining and authenticating the required documents, processing applications, and handling other necessary expenses has become a major obstacle for me. Despite my determination and hard work, financial limitations are making it impossible to complete my application at this time.
This is not a post about giving up. It is a post about being honest about the challenges many students face while pursuing international education opportunities. Behind every scholarship application is a story of sacrifice, hope, and resilience.
I still believe in my dream of studying abroad and building a better future through education. Even though this setback is painful, I refuse to let it define the end of my journey. I will continue searching for opportunities, working hard, and trusting that one day the right door will open.
To everyone chasing a dream but struggling financially, please don't stop believing in yourself. Sometimes the road is longer than we expected, but our dreams are still worth fighting for.
