Due to covid and gyms closing, I have been out of the gym for about 18 months.
Today I can proudly say that I finished week 10 of my training program while it sucks that I basically lost most of my strength and mental fortitude to lift big weights.
During the pandemic I had gotten out of shape and kinda fat, I can now say that due to getting fat I did get a bit bigger (just trying to see the silver lining)
This week I deadlifted 155kg for 4 reps meaning I am about 55kg away from my previous deadlift max from when I was training for powerlifting competitions. I'm slowly building the mental strength back to lift heavy because I do feel scared before doing stuff now and that wasn't there before.
My body also needs time to readjust to the weight and I know that due to the pain in the palm of my hands.

2 more weeks to go in my current program and then I can decide if I want to pick the hypertrophy route or the strength route if I can't make up my mind I'll probably just stick to the maintenance program because it gives the best of both worlds.

Pretty soon I'll start filming my workouts again!
