Our Lord is the Greatest and most powerful being. He doesn't control us, he guides us. Being given free will to decide is a proof of how good our God is.
Seeing how many believers he has is a prove of how mighty his power reigns. No matter where you go there will always be a believer among the society.
Every moment we spend with him is worth it. Because if we are with God every wrong becomes right, and every problems becomes a lesson.
Every sacrifice we do for him is blessed.
Every prayer to him is answered.
