Are silent.
The bones of the earth
Are quiet.
When I visit ruins
At twilight
It’s perfect
For being alone.
Under the stars
In a field
Stand sorrows
That cannot be healed,
Unnoticed,
Impervious to blows
They stand
Mute and alone;
Haunted by ghosts
Of the past
Unnoticed
And much like us.
