I told you my dream
So we can meet.

Wherever we are,
We can talk,

Quiet, intimate whispers
Confided in the dark.

We can be together
In your world or mine,

Baring our souls
While the pale moon shines.

Undisturbed by fears
Or shyness,

For moonlight is private,
Visible silence.

Last night the snow
Outside the window,

Shone so bright
It filled me with wonder;

But wouldn't disturb
Your deep slumber

With face so close
Your breath was thunder.
