In a glass bowl
Sunlit
And alone;
Two wooden chairs
On the patio
Vacant
All winter long.
Clouds pass
Unseen
Above me
The wind
Soundlessly
Bends the trees;
Insulated
As an oyster
While trees
Sway
Over me.
Snow
Imperceptibly
Dances
But nothing
Touches me,
Except
A ticking clock
That says
You’re gone...
Though I still
Disagree.
