RE: Depression Glass ...Part 4 ...Tethered by Letters
When I encounter really weird situations, I freeze - that's why I take myself out of such a context and give the characters free rein Ah, Cab Sav or Shiraz - either is excellent after dinner with soft

Yes, the metaphor is an extended one and meant to be taken personally by the reader - all too often we limit ourselves, particularly re ageism - unwilling to take some risks, go a different way, or start

RE: Depression Glass ...Part 5 ...Seeing Through a Mirror Darkly
You see things so clearly, my friend. I must admit I was focussing on the first purpose but it does beg the question of what became of Blythe back in the Thirties? Does the arrow of time work in one direction

Thanks, Arthur - on the other hand, sometimes I feel detached - there's a ditch on either side of the road :)

RE: Thursday Theatre!
I'm reading this on a day where Trump is on a tirade over China and wondering how world politics would change if more women were in charge...just saying, because I'm getting tired of pissing contests,

Thanks, Arthur - I appreciate your comments and understand you also have a writerly life. Re your current literary challenge, I'm reminded of a story I wrote called, The Light of the Stars, wherein another

On the face of it, that Newton's law is really funny, however, I find that last meme haunting actually - it caused me to mentally review all the stupid things I've done along the way because of my own

Thanks, Alan - it's actually the title of the Kurelek painting - he's a now deceased Toronto artist whose work I admire. I was drawn to the painting because it depicts a familiar emotion for me - the feeling

Did you send this to me by mistake, Arthur? I don't recall our talking politics and I didn't receive any mailings. Oh btw, you can send me the cheque if it slipped your mind - you know the one for $64,000.
