Thanks, Arthur - I appreciate your comments and understand you also have a writerly life.

Re your current literary challenge, I'm reminded of a story I wrote called, The Light of the Stars, wherein another character recounted a similar cliff-hanging experience. I usually write in the first person, participant narrator mode so I was perplexed how to get inside the characters' minds - believe it or not, it's sometimes easier in third person omniscient mode - I solved it by having another character retell the story. Anyway, I empathize with the struggle, but as Camus wrote, the struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart...I hope that consoles you :)
