A poem written in pain after being robbed by mobs on a Christmas Eve.
Chased by the mobs, oh! I sobbed
Through the alley, so I sought
In search for help, I screamed
Still panting as I saw an open alley.
Was lost in shock as I ducked
With all belongings gone as I sat in thought
Please help as I said with voice all lost
Oh! I wish as tears dripped from my eyes.
A season of fun but what pain it brings
With so much gift shared, what shame to steal
Face all blurred with sorrowful grin
I wish, I wish as I nod in regret.
Then again I pondered
If I had stayed indoor, if I had met santa
The worst Christmas ever I said within me
This pain you would feel if you were in my shoes.
