I think the American founding fathers saw the right to bear arms as a means to keep minorities and enslaved peoples under control. Clearly it's an outdated act and Americans are feeling the consequences

Yea same here in New Zealand Sport shooters are considered experienced professionals who know what they are doing. It's definitely better that obtaining a gun is made difficult unless qualified. Thanks
