This day started badly: Plan A and Plan B fell into the water.

Dieser Tag begann schlecht: Plan A und Plan B fielen ins Wasser.

At first I wanted to hike on a mountain in my hometown today, but the morning weather forecast said it was raining there. But I had a plan B and drove to Slovenia, where I wanted to photograoh a beautiful waterfall that I have never been to. The sky was clear, but halfway there it started to rain, and when I arrived at the parking lot in Kobarid, it was pouring rain.

Zuerst wollte ich heute auf einen Berg in meinem Heimatort wandern, aber der Wetterbericht am Morgen sagte, dass es dort regnete. Aber ich hatte einen Plan B und fuhr nach Slowenien, wo ich einen schönen Wasserfall fotografieren wollte, bei dem ich noch nie gewesen bin. Der Himmel war sternenklar, aber auf halber Strecke fing es an zu regnen und als ich am Parkplatz in Kobarid eintraf, regnete es in Strömen.

Of course, I also had a plan C - drive home 😉
So I drove over the Vršič Pass in the direction of Austria, and when I arrived at the viewing platform below the pass, the fog cleared a bit and showed me this forest in the most beautiful autumn colors.

Natürlich hatte ich auch einen Plan C - nach Hause fahren 😉
Ich fuhr also über den Vršič-Pass in Richtung Österreich, und als ich bei der Aussichtsplattform unterhalb des Passes ankam, lichtete sich der Nebel etwas und zeigte mir diesen Wald in den schönsten Herbstfarben.

These beautiful colors made up for the disappointment of the rain.

Diese wunderschönen Farben entschädigten mich ein bisschen für die Enttäuschung wegen des Regens.
